How many are under a physicans care with benzo"s

Hi all ,I wanted to know how many of us started off by being perscribed by a physican with benzo"s ,or are many getting them from others ,like family members,friends,and are you taking them as perscribed? or did you take them as perscribed?knowing myself who highly addicting valium can become it would be interesting to find out ,when you ran out how you dealt with the withdrawls !

I think most of us start with best of intentions and usually with a legitimate reason - anxiety and such caused by opiates abuse or not perhaps... Dr.'s soon cut us off without any regard for the withdrawal we will soon suffer, so we either continue the abuse by getting them from mexico if we live close enough to the border, mail order via the internet or from friends, relatives, or dealers... it is then we go down the spiral... Dr.'s are reluctant to help I think becuz they are part guilty for getting us started in the first place, plus they deny that there really even is a w/d syndrome since physcially, they can't find benzos in the system and maybe we all check out fine physcially, but they cant see that the neurons in the brain are waking up, popping and smaking and causing synapes to fire too fast- this cannot be seen, but it causes the mental like symptoms, so doc's might just say it is all in our mind, and it is, but it is real!
